1930s Black Amethyst Carnival glass ruffled bowl 8”

Beautiful vintage 1920s–1930s black amethyst carnival/stretch glass bowl with a ruffled, fluted rim! 💜✨ This Depression-era piece is a total chameleon! At first glance, it looks like deep black glass, but hold it to a window or light source, and it glows with a gorgeous, rich violet-purple color and a warm golden/copper iridescent luster in the center. * Size: Approx. 8 inches in diameter * Authenticity: Completely unmarked with a classic orange peel dimpled texture on the underside of the base. This stippled mold finish is a wonderful stamp of early glass-making authenticity—no modern logos or marks here! * Style: Classic 8-point crimped ruffle edge, smooth stretch glass finish. * Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or major wear. Brilliant shine and iridescence. * Perfect for: A stunning entryway key dish, centerpiece, vanity tray, or addition to a vintage glassware collection.
