【Kaneiji Temple】Limited Edition Lace Amulet (Pink) Super Rare Lifelong Charm ?Kinran (Gold Brocade) ? Uses Mizuhiki Curtain
22.00 $
Description
Kanneiji Temple, Ueno, Tokyo - Main Hall Limited Amulet (Extremely Rare!)
Purchased on May 3rd, Reiwa 8 (2026), Constitution Memorial Day.
This amulet can be specially purchased by paying the viewing fee and entering the inner sanctuary of the Main Hall (Ruri-den).
The brocade fabric contained in this amulet is a mizuhiki curtain that has protected the Secret Buddha Principal Image, Nikko Bosatsu, Gekko Bosatsu, the Twelve Generals, and various other deities in the main hall for 40 years.
With the completion of the ceiling painting Eigaku Soryu in 2025, and a new mizuhiki curtain donated by the Tokugawa family, this curtain, having completed its 40-year service, is now being distributed as an amulet.
Since the hollyhock crest cannot be cut, the brocade part (excluding the crest) has been cut by hand, so no two patterns are the same.
Also, while regular amulets are replaced annually, this is a very precious amulet that you can keep for a lifetime!
Size (approx.): Height 7.5cm x Width 4.5cm
